The 1600 oil-wet-type sheet-to-sheet polishing and grinding line integrates automatic sheet handling, edge-burr removal, abrasive-belt polishing, brushing, cleaning, drying and protective-film lamination for stainless steel sheet production.
Servo-driven suction loading and unloading give controlled sheet transfer through the whole process. Sheets are handled automatically from the 5 m conveyor roller table, through edge treatment and polishing, to unloading — reducing manual handling and surface damage.
The documented incoming materials are 430, 439, 445, 304, 316 and 200-series stainless steels with 2B or BA surfaces. The line processes sheets 300–1550 mm wide, up to W1550 × L4000 mm, and 0.4–3.0 mm thick, at a documented line speed of 20 m/min with stepless regulation.
Process control is by PLC, touchscreen, sensors and frequency-controlled drives, with manual and automatic operating modes. Safety interlocks, alarms, a light curtain and infrared detection are described in the source configuration.
